About Our Holder

Both authentication services sonically seal each coin inside tamper resistant hard acrylic holders often referred to as “slabs”. These basically inert holders serve as more than just physical barriers protecting the coin from damage. Each slab is sonically sealed preserving the originality of the as struck surfaces by working to protect the coins from dust, moisture and gaseous elements present in our open air and in storage. Most coins are secured inside the slabs with an inert gasket designed to hold the coin in place while not damaging or chemically reacting with the precious metals used to create the coin. For added security each coin holder is identified with a catalog number and unique serial number. These numbers can be used to identify each individual piece. Every coin can be researched and identified by this number through either PCGS or NGCX using their cert verification databases.
